In Tarot the 13th card is The Death Card and it means transition, and the end of one thing and the beginning of another. This card is an interesting symbol for the New Years but also an obvious choice to take about death. So, that was the introduction to what this post is about.
So, the week has been more eventful than I normally hope for, which is unfortunately not a good thing. Only one of the events was really good. The rest wasn’t. This is probably going to be a very very short blog post, but while all this happened it’s not something I really want to talk a lot about.
There is something to say about someone who uses someone else’s death as a way to get attention and sympathy for themselves when they never even care about the person who died. When the funeral is just a fashion show for someone’s fake tears and so they can parade around in short skirts then it is obvious that there is no heart or soul there. This just makes me sick because my Papa deserves better than to have someone who never cared about him at a celebration of his life, especially if he didn’t even like her because he seen her for the fake person she was.
While my Papa was getting sicker a lot of the family stepped up to the plate and visited him, or sent their love to him. Not everyone, I think we all have those family members who will try to manipulate and twist someone aka my papa. Shit like this just makes me sick. I don’t think that I can ever understand someone who does that, who takes advantage of the elderly like that. Also, I think it’s just as bad to do this to anyone of any age.
In the last few months, my Papa aka my grandfather, because people think I’m talking about my dad for some reason, has been having a lot of health problems and on the second of this month he passed away. It’s been really hard on the family because while it felt fast and slow at the same time. My papa was a very strong person and he was very open-minded and was so sharp. Back when printing was still around, an art and a very sought after skill he was one in eleven of Master Printers in the state and that was the highest there was in the time.
