This was something that was kind of brought up by fandom but it’s very interesting when a lot of men who’s favorite character is a strong independent female can’t handle one in real life. It’s just kind of ironic that they all like the idea of a strong woman but can’t actually handle a real one.
So, I should start out by saying I don’t mean actual unicorns, what I mean is in a subset of the fandom they use the term Unicorn to describe a character that is precious to them, they don’t want anything to happen to them, and they want to protect them. Jilly and Keira use the term on their podcast, and it’s being used as a title for the Unicorn Relay about the character Tony DiNozzo. So, this blog is going to be me talking about my unicorns in certain fandoms.
So it is no secret that I am a big Hey Arnold fan; I got into it when I was fixing to start middle school; that was when I was allowed to start to watch cable/satellite channels because I didn’t have an evil in my life anymore. Unlike other tags I have done, this is one that I made, and I thought that it would be fun to share and do. I love these types of tags, so here we go.
This week I want to talk about my top ten favorite anime and mangas, I’ve wanted to do this for a while but I also didn’t want to have to pick and choose my favorites because I love so many of them. While it was hard to choose, it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. So, before we began like always on my top ten list it’s not in any particular order.
And here is another Harry Potter tag, I love these as a big Harry Potter fan, the books are my jam, and I love the fandom even more. So, I found this on A Geek Girl’s Guide, but it didn’t have a source for it. Plus, I have a headache and wanted to share something lighthearted.
