Vegan Dirty Rice


How to make Vegan Dirty Rice
This recipe I did better, I have half the measurements, so a I will give a rough estimate on the rest.

Ingredients
1 cup of dry rice
1 1/2 cups of dry TVP [Texturized Vegetable Protien]
1 bell pepper diced
1 onion diced
1 clove of garlic diced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
seasonings and spices
black pepper (1 teaspoon)
cajun seasoning (3 tablespoon)
garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
onion powder (1 teaspoon)
seasoning salt (1 tablespoon)
garlic salt (1 tablespoon)
poultry seasoning (1 teaspoon)
oregano (1 teaspoon)
thyme (1 teaspoon)
parsley (1 tablespoon)
sage (1 tablespoon)
turmeric (2 tablespoon)
teriyaki sauce (1 tablespoon)
liquid aminos (2 teaspoon)
tamari (2 tablespoon)
1 cap full of apple cider vinegar
liquid smoke (1 teaspoon)
1 cube of not chick’n stock [Link]*

  1. I use jasmine rice, and I cook it in the microwave 5 minutes high, 10 minutes medium, and let it sit for a few minutes. 1 cup of rice, and 2 cups of water. Then when your done add some olive oil, some turmeric, and some cajun seasoning. Mix with a spoon.

  2. Take your 1 ½ cups of TVP and put it in a bowl with the same amount of hot water and let it set 5-10 minutes.

  3. In a non-stick pan with olive oil saute your onion, then add your bell pepper, and then your garlic. When that is to your liking add in the TVP, and the rest of the seasoning and spices. When that is cooked to your liking add to rice and mix.
