New Years & Beyond

First of all, Happy New Years everyone! If you celebrated it, I hope that it was awesome. Personally, I didn’t go out to do so, I am not into crowds or people. To be honest I had just chilled at home. I’m not a fan of explosions or fireworks so that is a good thing to me. The holidays to me, in general, are not a big deal as my Christmas was also not eventual, and that is just fine with me. It’s definitely preferred that is for sure.

I am a very clumsy person, and honestly people had always said that I would grow out of that, but that is obviously not true since my clumsiness has become worst as I have gotten older. So the day after Christmas I was trying to get a pit out of an avocado but apparently the pit was hollow and the knife went straight through the pit. As I was holding the half of the avocado at the time the knife hit my ring finger on my left hand and the knife went right through my finger. Seriously though I thought that I was going to have to get stitches since at the time the wound had been bleeding so much I couldn’t put on a bandaid without the wound bleeding everywhere. It also acted like the last time I needed stitches, but luckily it stopped bleeding after three hours so no ER for me. It’s been almost a week and my whole left hand still hurts, especially my actual finger and my wrist to be honest. It’s getting better though and it very much healing, I am just glad that it is just closing up and the finger is less purple now.

The sad part is that I am not really surprised about me doing that.

Yesterday, I got to pick up my twin at the airport since she is here to visit, and we will see our other sisters soon
