Love Is Zero – A Day Late and A Dollar Short

A Day Late and A Dollar Short

This post is a day late because I didn’t feel good today, but here it is. Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it, I really don’t. Not only does the holiday have a racist and problematic history, how many turkeys die for this day that doesn’t need to? Too many.  Not only that but I don’t visit most of my family anymore, I would rather not be around racist, sexist, bad people to be honest.

I did try to make NikkiVegan’s Holiday Roast, and it was good but I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I liked Gardein’s Holiday Roast. It was disappointing because I was hoping to make Nikki’s for my dad and me, but all well. I also tried to make brownies, and my dad said they tasted fine, but I got sick. The last two times I had chocolate, the powdered kind it made me sick. Also, both of those times I used coconut flour, but any other coconut product doesn’t seem to bother me. So, I am unsure if I am getting sick from chocolate/powdered chocolate or the coconut flour. I’m more inclined to think it’s the chocolate, but is there a difference between other kinds and powdered? The ingredients just said powdered chocolate.

Another reason I am not a fan of Thanksgiving is that I worked retail, and most of the people going off to their Thanksgiving were nasty and rude to retail workers. That’s real sweet be nasty to a random worker because they didn’t leave their house soon enough, or whatever reason is they did wrong that they will blame on someone else to make themselves feel better about their lives.
