I thought that it would be a really cute idea to share some childhood stories, these are all really short, but I thought it would be fun. So, I hope that you enjoy these little things from my childhood.

I remember when I was about six or seven my mom was pregnant and I didn’t know, because for some reason she just didn’t tell my twin and me. I just know I was seven when the baby popped out, lol. It happened one weekend when we were visiting her. I think she was going to plan on popping her out and then being like here’s your sibling. So, I placed my hand on her stomach and rubbed it and said, “Moma, you sure are getting fat,” I didn’t know and I feel bad about it now. That is when she told us that she was pregnant. So, I went around telling everyone, “I’m going to have a sister,” because you couldn’t tell me otherwise, I was having a sister. I remember coming home and telling my dad about it, and he was like Tiffany it could be a brother, and I told him, “No, I know it’s going to be a sister.” So, I had a sister 🙂

The next time my mom had another baby was seven years later, so besides me and my twin, we are all seven years apart. So, it’s almost like she planned that shit. When my mom said she was pregnant again, I was like hooray another sister, which the baby’s father was like no it’s going to be a boy, and I just remember arguing with him about how he was wrong and I was right. Then some months later we find out the baby’s sex and guess who was right, lol me. Both times you couldn’t tell me I was having a brother, because I wasn’t and I wanted sisters, and I got them.

When my middle little sister was tiny she didn’t know how to spell, so when my twin and I were visiting our mom and sisters at their home, there was a park that was very easy to walk to. However, if we wanted to go and out middle little sister knew we were going we had to take her, it wasn’t bad but she liked to whine a lot, so when we would ask our mom, “hey mom, can we go to the P A R K,” and we would spell it out. Which only worked until she learned how to spell.

I remember one day, my mom was talking my twin and I back home and before she did she was going to pick up some fast food for us and out middle little sister. First, we stopped at Hardee’s and where they lived they had this meal called chicken and stars that was a kids meal that our sister liked, but the Hardee’s back home did have that. So, she started throwing a temper tantrum, just acting up. She was turning around whispering cuss words, which my twin and I would laugh, it was funny. Then you had mom trying not to laugh telling us not to encourage her, then she tried to sit out the window, it was hilarious. So, mom when to the McDonald’s to get her a chicken nugget kids meal, and then to Taco Bell for us. By the time we got home the little sister was happy eating her fries because Mcdonald’s forgot her chicken nuggets lol, and I somehow got mild sauce in my eye.

One summer, my twin and I was at my mom’s after she started living with my stepdad, I remember because that was about the time that he proposed to her. And my youngest little sister was riding her bike outside, and apparently she had to poop, but she didn’t want to stop riding her bike. So, she did two things at once. Remembering this makes me laugh. So, she came inside and told mom what happened, and mom was like “why didn’t you go to the bathroom?” So, she explained that’s she didn’t want to stop riding her bike, but the poop ran down her legs. So mom cleaned her up, while she told mom those were her favorite pants. I remember laughing and thinking she had 5 pants that look just like that. Mom obviously threw those pants away there was no saving them.

I remember in elementary school, there were these boys who picked on all the girls, and no one would do anything about including the teachers, they let them pick on us and didn’t do anything about it, so one day I defended another girl against these bullies, and they didn’t punish the boys at all, they kicked me out of the school play. When my dad heard what happened, and the truth he was so mad at the school because I didn’t deserve that, especially since they never punished the bullies, because boys will be boys and that made it okay to them. Obviously, my twin told them she wouldn’t be in the school play anymore, because of that. It wasn’t too long after those events that we moved because that school left a bad taste in my mouth.

When I was about six or seven years old my mom would always point or wave at cops and said: “there’s Johnny Law.” So being very young I assumed that Johnny was a friend or someone she knew. So one day she waved at a cop and said “there’s Johnny Law.” with the cop being so far away I didn’t know how she could tell that it was her friend, Johnny, so I said, “Moma, how do you know that’s Johnny Law?” So then she had to explain that’s what she called all cops.

So when I was about six or seven years old I had always wondered what this thing was on my mom’s lip, it was a birthmark but I did know that at the time. So, one day I asked her what that was on her lip, and she said “beats me,” like she didn’t know and she probably assumed that I knew it was a birthmark. Well, I didn’t and I thought she said beesknee and so for the longest time, I thought the thing on her lip was a beesknee.

When my twin sister and I were about four or five we were at our dad’s house and we were playing cops and robbers. So my twin and I were the cops and our dad was the robber, and being so young we thought it would be okay to actually call 911, they actually came to the house. They were not happy lol, I don’t remember what we were thinking, or how that was actually taken seriously.

When my twin sister and I were young apparently we thought we would be helpful for our dad by picking the moles off his back, I don’t think we knew that they were moles though.

I hope that you enjoyed these 🙂

Oh man, I love hearing about stories where kids are surprised about where babies came from. It is interesting that your siblings are 7 years apart. At least you got the gender guess right the next time around, hehe. I hate it when teachers let the boys pick on the girls. It is ridiculous – it teaches them bad behavior at a very young age. Oh man!! I can’t believe the 911 call actually happened! Thanks for sharing some of these childhood memories.

Those were adorable stories. I don’t want to go back to remembering my childhood. I was a lot worse than you. xD
