Resolutions

Jan. 15th 2019

One of the biggest things people talk about during the new years is their resolutions and what their goals are going into the new years. Then a month later most people give up on them. I even seen friends on Facebook say they can’t wait until the new people in the gym give up on their resolutions so that the gym won’t be packed, and others have already given up on their goals. This is one of the reasons I don’t talk about my goals and resolutions with friends or family, and I certainly don’t go gung ho on them.

New Years & Beyond

Jan. 1st 2019

First of all, Happy New Years everyone! If you celebrated it, I hope that it was awesome. Personally, I didn’t go out to do so, I am not into crowds or people. To be honest I had just chilled at home. I’m not a fan of explosions or fireworks so that is a good thing to me. The holidays to me, in general, are not a big deal as my Christmas was also not eventual, and that is just fine with me. It’s definitely preferred that is for sure.

Happy Holidays

Dec. 25th 2018

Hey Everyone, I  hope that everyone had a great holiday. This blog will be just short and sweet. I didn’t do too much, I cooked a vegan meal for my dad and I. It was a stuffed butternut squash, onion gravy, and mashed potatoes. I loved everything, but the onion gravy, it was a new recipe, and it was okay. I prefer mushroom gravy.

That one family member

Dec. 18th 2018

I think that you all know what I mean, we all have that one family member that constantly screws up and does it on purpose. I won’t call them the black sheep, because let’s be honest here, that’s me. It’s the same cousin that I blogged about a month or two ago. You can love someone and want what is best for them until you are blue in the face but unless they want help and want to accept what they can get.

Call-out Culture & Racist Family

Dec. 4th 2018

These are two things that I’ve talked about before while I never addressed call-out culture by name I have talked about it. Mostly by doing it, and racist family. I live in the south so a lot of my family is racist and I mean that they are on purpose, they choose to be and they enjoy it. Even if they don’t see it as racism, it obviously is to anyone with a brain. Call-out culture aligns a lot with how I and a few family members (and friends who allow racism/sexism/etc on their post) deal with these family members which is why I linked them together in this blog post. Also, to be clear these family members are also sexist, red pill, trump fangirls/boys, hate women (even if they are one), hates anything not traditional, anti-trans, anti-environment, and while they claim to be pro-troops they hate them if they challenge their core beliefs.
